I finally was able to get my grubby hands on some copic markers! Okay, they cost £3 a pen, but they are so cool (I brought 41)! I had a sketch of Subaru that I quickly traced and coloured, and it looks okay (not great) but I think the picture needs to be BIG for copics to look REALLY good (to get all the detail in). I might post both the sketch (which I'm quite fond of) and the copic picture. I might also CG the sketch (if I'm feeling particuarly brave/bored since I think it will take a LONG while and I'm not sure how I'll do his hair in CG).

What I am currently scratching my head about is how to trace/copy/scan my latest picture. Why? I drew it on A3 paper instead of A4. It looks great because it bigger and I could get all the detail in, and it's probably big enough to copic well...but my scanner is an A4 scanner. I might take it into work and borrow the photocopier. I can at least reduce it to A4 size so I can scan it in (if I'm lucky I might be able to feed A3 paper into it so I can copy it to copic it without having to touch the original).

Not that I'm abusing my work's resources at all!
