I've just realised that my little header thing has changed from 'Deviant for 3 Years' to 'Deviant for 4 years'...

I think I've improved a lot over those years, even if I'm still not very good in the grand scheme of things.

My colouring is, I think, the thing that has improved the most. My proportions have improved quite a bit, too, although my hands and feet are still awful.

New Trials is still my most prolific subject, but Yuffentine has made a come back today!

I may just buy a subscription to celebrate 4 years of dA membership! I've threatened a few times (adverts...I hate adverts) but I have another reason, now!

Unfortunatly, the images don't work. Because dA is evil and doesn't use HTML or BBCode and I can't work out WHAT they use.

It is such a good job I finished my last picture before Doctor Who S4 Ep11 aired, because I am going to incoherent for the rest of the weekend.

It's been almost two years since my last journal update, so a quick message! I have a new wacom tablet! I upgraded my computer and discovered that my old, second hand Digitizer II tablet wouldn't work on Vista. So I forked over £260 for an Intuos 3 A5 Wide tablet. It's amazing! I love it! Wacom are the market leaders for a bloody good reason. They are awesome.

Unfortunately, my scanner ALSO doesn't work with Vista. So I'm stuck doing sketchwork directly onto the computer, instead of working from a pencil sketch.

But, I'll manage!

Okay, just discovered openCanvas.

Where has it been all my life! (or at least since I got my Wacom tablet two months ago).
