Ohmygosh... Beautiful! Love the colored version. The sparkliness is so pretty, and I love the feathers... It's hard to do feathers. The sparkles and feathers in the hair are pretty~ I want Meilin-love to spread. Hehe.
Thank you! I had great fun doing the sparkles! I'd never done them before, so working out which brushes to use and how to do them was great-especially when the effect worked!
I must admit, most of my improvement comes from tutorials. I read quite a few (on dA and on the manga_colors community on LJ). One day I'm going to try and redo some of my early pictures (the ones that make me cringe!).
I've always enjoyed drawing, even if I don't have much time for it anymore. Most of the things I draw aren't as elaborate, though!

I myself have given up drawing, but I love seeing your art improve each time - I don't know how you guys do all this stuff.
